Lauren Miller, Treasurer & Recording Secretary
Lauren is a public sector consultant with Grant Thornton in Arlington, VA. She specializes in Organization Change Management and Business Process Reengineering.
Lauren earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Studies where she focused on Global Health and Sub-Saharan Africa. She also earned a minor in French and a certificate in Business through the Liberal Arts Management Program. As an undergraduate, she studied abroad for five months at the University of Cape Town in South Africa and worked in Eldoret, Kenya as an intern with AMPATH doing research on pediatric adherence to antiretrovirals.
She completed her Master of Public Affairs at the School of Public and Environmental Affairs at IU in Bloomington. As a part of this degree Lauren was the 2016 Event Planning Intern for Malembe Rise and helped to organize, implement, and manage Malembe Rise’s fifth annual Gala.
